• The purpose of Word of Life Images

    Word of Life Images - Our goal for people with Cancer and Health Issues is to show how God's Holy Word can be a source of great strength. When you read what the Scripture means, meditating daily, it will give you strength in your time of need.

    Images - With each article that we publish, we create an image that should correlate to what's being written. We strongly believe that the image is only a place mat, the same type of place mat you would use when setting the dining room table for your guests. The meal is God's Holy Word, at no time is the place mat better than the meal (God's Holy Word).

    Caregivers - Having been both the patient as well as a caregiver, I know how much God's Holy Word helps. As a caregiver temptation is great and the workload is heavy and lonely, that's where God's Scripture and tips we give you can help lighten your load.

    Moments of Health - Our goal with moments of health is to help teach you by using Meditation, Breathing exercises, Yoga and Juicing for Life giving you a chance at gathering moments of health during the course of your day.

    Juicing for life- We love to juice, the fastest and most complete way to get the nourishment your body needs to energize and rebuild itself.

    Inspirational videos, stories etc. The old cliché you are what you think, is very true it's another way to gather moments of health during your day. Try during the day to find things that inspire you, could be people, stories and hopefully some of the things that we post on our website for you.

My source of strength in times of trouble – Isaiah 41:10

What is your source of strength in times of trouble? Money, friends, your physical strength? Are you the source of strength?

So do not fear I am with you; do not  be dismayed, for I’m your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand   Isaiah 41:10

I

My source of strength in times of trouble – Isaiah 41:10

The image above shows my recent visit to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. My question for you; What gives you strength in times of trouble, pain, or fear of the unknown? For me  God has strengthened me through his Holy Living Word that is as accurate today as it was over 2000 years ago.

One of my favorite Scriptures is Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul, spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

As I read the holy Bible, I see how he has worked in our lives for centuries, his son Jesus Christ died on the cross to cover our sins, so that we may be with him for eternity. Think of that last statement,  eternity with him with no pain, no fear, no sorrow, that always brings a smile to my face, easing  my fear helping me endure the unknown.

On our website you’ll find many images with Scripture that address God’s help in time of need, our goal is to give you Scripture that you can memorize,  drawing upon  it in your time of need. Visualize your memorized  Scripture, begin to feel your nerves calm down, changing your focus from fear to God’s  strength.

Another great Scripture is Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; whom shall I be afraid?

Remember Hebrews 4: 12, For the Word of God is living and powerful, penetrating throughout your whole body ,The Bible is your source of strength when you’re in need.

Much Love

Hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

Isaiah 40:31 – hope in the Lord will renew their strength

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even the youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

They will soar on wings like eagles

Isaiah 40:31 – hope in the Lord will renew their strength

Hope in the Lord will renew their strength. To hope in the Lord is to trust him fully with our lives; it involves looking to him as our source of help and grace in time of need.  Psalms 25:3-5; 27:14; Luke to: 25, 36-38 Those who hope in the Lord are promised: (1) God’s strength to revive them in the midst of exhaustion and weakness, of suffering and trial; (2) the ability to rise above their difficulties like an eagle that soars into the sky; and (3) the ability to run spiritually without tiring and to walk steadily forward without fainting at God’s delays. God promises that if his people will patiently trust him, he will provide whatever is needed to sustain them constantly. 1 Peter (1:5).

He gives strength to the wary

 and increases the power of the weak.

Even the youths grow tired and weary,

and young men stumble and fall;

but those who hope in the Lord

will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk in not be faint.

Isaiah 40:28-31

“I will never leave you or abandon you.”

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding… Proverbs 3:5

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Revelation 21- 4 NIV

Isaiah 26:3-4 7-9 NIV –  You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.

When everyone scatters; he will never leave you nor for sake you Deuteronomy 31-6

When everyone else leaves you God never will.

If you had cancer or health difficulties, I’m sure you could have experienced the vast majority of your friends abandoned you. It seems like they’re afraid that whatever you have might  jump off  of you and contaminate them. As my wife says  “it’s the wildebeest syndrome”, you know when one is sick and the rest the animals leave them so they can be eaten by predators. At times a person can feel singled out, alone facing life with major changes, plus a possible short life. It’s when facing major life changes, there will be a tremendous amount of  internal and external conversations. Hopefully to focus the effort to battle against the odds. This is when they need someone,  not to have the answers for them but just listen as they talk,  sometimes repeating themselves over and over again.

I find  Hebrews 13:5 stands out to me “I will never leave you or abandon you.” I love focusing on God’s holy word as I read the Bible. Certain verses that stand out to me and give me hope. This is why we created the Word Of Life Images.  The pictures are really just a placemat, only to hold God’s Scripture , God’s Holy Word is the main importance. Our goal is to create images with God’s Holy Word that you might find encouraging, and address’s your situation. In my life challenge, remembering that God will  never leave you helps me focus on other Scriptures. example – Isaiah 26:3-4 & 7-9 NIV –  You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the rock eternal.

If you’re a caregiver/friend/relative keep in mind that, a person going through cancer or health issues is already is feeling separated and abandoned, they will feel great comfort, even if you just sit with them. When my Mom was in her final stages of life I read the Bible to her.  I prayed that God’s Holy Word would comfort her and knowing even with her eyes closed and unconscious from prior reading  of  Hebrews 4:12, the words would penetrate into her.

When you read God’s Holy Word, you’ll see countless examples of very prominent people who even though they show great feats of trust and faith, still at times forget. You see that trust and faith seems to be the hardest to remember, when you’re going through cancer and health issues. If you can keep a journal of the times you see God’s hand in your life, you’re able to go back to it and remember that God is always there! I pray this remembering, will give you the faith and trust you need to hang on to, when you’re going through pain, suffering and abandonment.

Remember;

When everyone scatters; he will never leave you nor for sake you Deuteronomy 31-6

We have screensavers, books and individual pictures that I like to have around me so that I have a constant reminder of God’s promises and God’s Holy Word

Matt.3:17 – Son of God – 1 John 3:1 –  God’s Love children of God

Matthew 3: 17 – And a voice from heaven said, “This is my son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. “

1 John 3:1 how great is the love the father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God!

"This is my son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. "

1 John 3:1 how great is the love the father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God!

Every time I read in the Bible where God is pronouncing the love he has for his son, it always makes my heart swell with happiness. I have a vision of the son hearing those words of love from his father, and what God must have felt making that statement, of his love to his son. For me this symbolizes what love is about.

1 John 3:1 Symbolizes God’s love to us. How great is the love the father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what will we be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

I know in my life, I have let work, anxiety, fear, and health get in the way of letting the ones I care about, know that they are loved. Just think of what a person misses when the people around him, (if they are around him) don’t know the strength of his love. The question is, how do you change things? I have this prayer for those that are in the same boat I am, I pray dear Lord, please guide me and give me opportunities to show my children, my friends and my family that I love them and the depth of that love. Please give me strength, wisdom and understanding. I pray this in your son Jesus Christ’s Holy name.

Remember when facing Cancer or Health issues all of us do not know how much time we will have to show your love.

With much Love
