2 Corinthians 4: 1-18 Facing Cancer and Health problems.
Hard pressed, crushed & perplexed but not destroyed Facing Cancer and Health problems. 2 Corinthians 4 1-18
Caregivers and their patients; Hard pressed, crushed & perplexed but not destroyed, 2 Corinthians 4 1-18 addresses their faith.
My daily Bible reading brought me to, 2 Corinthians 4 1-18 which spoke to my heart, it sounded like it was written just for me. In my continual health journey, the pain has gotten to the point of making me want to scream stop! I have to admit it makes it harder to write my posts
Our ministry; “Word of Life Images” is directed to a vast amount of people going through Cancer, or Health problems and their caregivers. We need God’s Word to sustain us and give us hope. Our hope is that we touch you with positive ideas and words that you will take to heart and meditate on daily. That it gives you hope and a future. Please read: 2 Corinthians 4 1-18 below or in your Bible.
2 Corinthians 4 1-18 Starts by saying “Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart…….we do not use deception nor do we distort the Word of God……..We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed……So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you……
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
For most people that are living with major health problems, including Cancer sometimes the drugs are worse than the disease. Ask anyone who has gone through Chemo, Radiation, or constant medication, testing and waiting for the results, it feels like a slow death ….Will it be good news? Or has it progressed in the wrong direction. If we fix our heart on eternity with God our momentary burden and trouble gets reduced.
We would love to know your thoughts as the caregiver or patient, what helps you cope and you hope.O’B
