Meditation for cancer and health difficulties
Meditation on Scriptures help us focus on God’s power
If facing cancer and health difficulties. You can benefit from meditation
I got involved in yoga and meditation early in my life. The benefits have been documented by countless people over the years in plenty of books. If you want, take a class which I would highly recommend. This will give you more personalized and a quicker way of learning meditation. I bring up meditation because it’s one thing that I know deep in my inner soul that will balance both my metabolism as well as my nerves. The biggest problem we all face is motivation to do what we know we need to do. Reading God’s word should be part of your daily life. Word of Life Images goal is to provide you art and Scripture together that you can place in your home or your office, so you can meditate on God’s Word throughout the day. The art complements the Scripture although it is the Scripture that we want you to focus on.
A good book to read is called the Spectrum, it is written by Dean Ornish, M.D. I highly recommend for people who are experiencing cancer or health difficulties. It hits three main areas that are vitally important to me.
How to change my diet to eat more correctly based on my health needs. Dr. Ornish has written this book to be very easily understood and even easier to make the correct choices when combining food elements. Dr. Ornish splits your food up into five groups from least helpful to most helpful
1.) How to change my diet to eat more correctly based on my health needs. Dr. Ornish has written this book to be very easily understood and even easier to make the correct choices when combining food elements. Dr. Ornish splits your food up into five groups from least helpful to most helpful as well as plenty of examples of how his studies have a proven track record of helping people in all sorts of health conditions. At the end of the book even has recipes created by Art Smith.
2.) Using meditation and breathing to manage stress. Have you ever taken notice of your breathing and heart rate as you’re driving to your next doctor’s appointment waiting to hear the results? Your mind seems to be working out all the scenarios, possibilities and what ifs. Learning how to breathe and meditate reduces the stress on your system, as well as elevates your sense of calm. Added benefit in the Spectrum is a DVD that will help guide you in your efforts of practicing meditation.
3.) Yoga as part of your stress management system. Practicing hatha yoga (one form of yoga) stretches and relaxes chronically tensed muscle groups and increases both physical and mental flexibility. Just as your mind affects your body, so does your body affect your mind. When your body is more relaxed, your mind feels less stressed.
I feel this is a great book for people facing Cancer and Health difficulties. Right
