My source of strength in times of trouble – Isaiah 41:10
What is your source of strength in times of trouble? Money, friends, your physical strength? Are you the source of strength?
So do not fear I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I’m your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand Isaiah 41:10
The image above shows my recent visit to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. My question for you; What gives you strength in times of trouble, pain, or fear of the unknown? For me God has strengthened me through his Holy Living Word that is as accurate today as it was over 2000 years ago.
One of my favorite Scriptures is Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul, spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
As I read the holy Bible, I see how he has worked in our lives for centuries, his son Jesus Christ died on the cross to cover our sins, so that we may be with him for eternity. Think of that last statement, eternity with him with no pain, no fear, no sorrow, that always brings a smile to my face, easing my fear helping me endure the unknown.
