Deuteronomy – Important “ Book of Remembrance

Remember the Lord your God – Deuteronomy Moses last book

Remember – You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6: 5 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:20

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:20

Remember – You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6: 5 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:20

You might ask what my point is. When you face cancer or health problems, or just life remembering is sometimes the hardest thing to do. Life always has its way of diverting your attention, you can multiply that when you face major health issues or cancer, and if the pain doesn’t draw your attention, the drugs and treatments will. At this point in life you start wondering; am I facing my own demise?  What do I do? What about my wife that is my soul mate?  How will she survive, and the pain my death will cause.  Talk about diverting your attention. Still, God’s statement, that the most important thing to remember is “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength”. Deuteronomy 6: 5 “and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”. Matthew 28:20. My point when you remember that you Love the Lord your God and that he loves you and is with you always, it helps soften the pain and fear and gives you hope.

5 important scripture to remember when facing cancer and health problems:

1)      Jeremiah 29: 11-14

2)      Isaiah 43: 1-3

3)      Isaiah 40

4)      Matthew 11: 28-30

5)      2 Corinthians 4: 8-9, 16

I learned early in my life that if you focus on pain or what you might not have, then pain will continue to grow until it’s out of control.  So my question for you is why not focus on the positive? That’s the purpose of Word of Life Images, to give you something positive to focus on and what could be more positive than God’s Love for you? Just remember!
